As far as my live acoustic show is concerned, it is just me, with guitar, vocals and the occasional harmonica.
I am also a member of the Cape May County Songwriters Group, and the Coffee House Players. Feel free to check out their sites below to discover some amazing musicians and bands and to see schedules for any upcoming shows.
I listen to quite an eclectic range of music, from classic rock to indie rock to folk to pop to metal to classical and everything in between. I think my main influence (at the risk of sounding corny or just plain dumb) are the sounds, colors, and shapes of the things around me.
I started playing guitar while serving as drummist for the band Zomo, back in Erie, PA. Now, some six or seven years later, I am still trying my best to hammer out some chords, write some tunes and play as much as possible. Besides playing the guitar and performing acoustically throughout New Jersey and it's surrounding states, I play drums in The T.J. Fry Band and work on a few studio projects.
Here is the link below to my album that came out in 2007. You'll also find links to the two Zomo albums that came out in 2008. Feel free to click on the links, be transported to CD Baby, and listen to snippets of the albums.
DUSTIN MILLER: Serenading The Wall
A diverse and eclectic album. Acoustic guitar driven indie folk rock tunes ranging from love songs to alien anthems.
Besides writing, recording and performing my own original music, I keep busy with a few other bands and projects. Here is a list of those projects and a short description of my role within each one. Please feel free to drop in on these sites and say hello!
Zomo
- My original band consisting of myself and Justin Hoenke. We both write, arrange, produce, record and play multiple instruments in the band, yet my one key responsibility is that of the "drummist".
T.J. Fry & Company
- My other original band fronted by guitarist T.J. Fry, with Tom Nardozza on the organ and various other talented musicians sharing the stage with us. I play the drums.
Fig and the Harmonious Hair Loss
- My little side project. I started this as an outlet to create my vision of techno music. It is just me, a computer and too much spare time. I get some of my custom loops and samples from The Dewey Decimal Sound System
Was that song called "Man in White Pants"? I really loved it. Keep the bass high in the song -- you said it sounded like a "drone", but I think it made it mesmerizing.
