It's just me now, CK, but i'll hopefully be able to provide you with some good sounding music, guess we'll have to see wont we :-)
Influences
Its a strange thing, being influenced by particular artists, i mean the way i see it, i'm influenced by everything around me at any time, but the biggest influences to me at least are people who i have met along the way, like the guy who was playing piano during my music when i was in year 9 at school, or David Beard for giving me the first real singing lessons i ever had, or the guys from Kind Of Injury who let me sing for them for the short time we were together. Then there's Andy Portas and Andy Moore at college who gave us all the opportunity to try loads of different types of music. There's all the guys and girls i met at uni who were amazing to work with and have touched my soul in some way or another, especially 'Hannah Pianna' who once told me that i 'totally pissed on everyone', lol, or Bryony, my 'University Wife' (sorry Greg, its not how it sounds! lol) There's also Graham 'Stephen' Philpott who helped show me that musicals really are the lowest form of music, Jeff Smith, who helped me see that swing music can still be cool, 'Acoustic Pop' who were always the three musicians I aspired to in Uni, and Yvonne Seymour who helped tame my random thought processes when it came to performances basically, the list is endless, but all of these people and many others helped influence the music i make now, non of them are very well known, but they are my biggest influences and i try to thank them every time i get on stage by putting those influences into everything i do.
Sounds Like
I guess i model my sound a little on Damien Rice, some Dashboard Confessional and a bit of Incubus with some Radiohead thrown in but i like to think im unique :-)
GHOSTS IN THE OLD ARCADE
So i started singing when i was about 10, singing songs from musicals and stuff like that, nothing major, took part in a couple of stage shows and stuff, didnt actually start learning to play guitar until i was about 15 and i only really took it up because my dad used to (and still does) play three chords and refused to learn any more, so i was basically proving a point! and then i kinda got into it a bit more, so my dad then bought a piano and a similar thing happened there.
I got into my first band when i was about 16 too, just singing at the time, in a band called 'the undecided' it lasted a few weeks, went nowhere and died a death, anyway, next thing was setting up a band in sixth form, where i found JP wh was a guitarist, Greeny wanted to try his hand at Bass and Bazz was an already accomplished drummer looking for something different. So we formed 'Route 69' where JP would turn up with riffs that 'he'd' written, and we did ok, but then he left to join an Aerosmith tribute band...how'd that work out for you mate? haha! anyway, the remainging members regrouped, i stayed on vocals, Bazz stayed on drums, Greeny tried his hand at guitar and YT took over on Bass. The set-up worked pretty well for a couple of years, getting us all through college and we did a few gigs, to the point where i could get people singing our lyrics at one point, anyway, i decided to try and futher my career and this, i think, unnerved some of the others and i was unceremoniously ejected from the band. So i went off to uni, learnt my craft and got to play with some of the best musicians in the country and perform as part of chamber choirs, musical theatre groups, gospel choirs, rock bands, swing groups, big band, african drumming groups, as well as the beginnings of the sound you come to expect from just now.
When I got back to Derby YT and myself began work on much of the music you hear from Just today, performed a few gigs and then YT told me he was to become a father so we played our final gig together ironically at the first ever 'derby singer songwriters club' nights at the Blessington. Since then i have been working on stuff by myself, modernizing some of the older stuff and making new stuff too. I hope you like it!
Just remember when u become big all the little pple!
I really hope u can play our song sometime its really amazing just like u! Love lots! Best of luck !
Sadly no...at least not publicly. I'll gladly take on a ninja-stylee assignment tho, Covert Ops is my middle name. Rach Covert Ops Watson. Not very catchy I'll grant you, but hey, it was the 70s.

Hey dudes, just gave AITW a good listen, even with it being a demo you can tell that a lot of non-Kane & Lynch care and effort is going into your work, so keep it up & I look forward to enjoying more tracks soon.
Just had a quick listen through the headphones man, sounds awesome! Gunna wake up now and put it through the monitors now and check it out! Nice stuff though, where did you record it? :)
