Sounds Like
A Dying Breed of Banshee Bunnymen...
Below is a brief summary of each song's history and/or meanings and stuff:
All The Ways.. (Guitar Version) - This song was one of this first songs I wrote after the split of Vespertine Garden.. The MusikBox approach was to go for a more minimal sound of darkness and more obscure lyrics. The bassline was played on a SANITONE bass guitar which i no longer own and i miss to hell since it had such a beautifully brooding tone to it..
For Time.. (Believe DEMO) - This song features one of the first guitar melodies i ever wote in my life.. very spacey/dreamy melody.. I finally turned it into a song and this was the demo version before i added lyrics. I dont like how the version with the lyrics came out so i decided to post this version instead..
You (Demo Version)- This was another song that was written after the demise of Vespertine Garden. After being pigeon-holded as a goth band i decided to make a more upbeat poppy song which actually pokes fun at goths.. such as myself :-P. Once again, i despise the recording with the lyrics so i just put this Demo version up instead.. here are some of the lyrics though:
"this ridiculous asshole, the one in black clothes, with the dreariest outlook, your so special, do you think your so evil or just feeble, do you wish you could be though?, your so special, can you see your reflection of all things pretense, could you every admit that, your so special.." kinda a play on weither or not i am talking about myself or i am talking about YOU!! :-D
Time For Nothing (Instrumental Demo) - Once again, due to production flaws, i like the original demo better than the version that has vocals. This song is also one of the 3 first tracks that were done as a follow up to the Vespertine Garden sessions.. Very Cocteau-esque.. Maybe TOO much :-P
Here Comes Another Day - Is an attempt at making a much faster & darker song than my previous efforts. This song is just purely about being fed up with the day to day monotony!! GRRRR!!!
The Silence is for the Ghosts - I made this song on my 21st birthday, hence the line at the begining: "Floating, through one year past twenty.." this song is basically an ode to being alive and staying happy, for my life is a constant tug-o-war between depression & happiness as all our lives are!
Nations - This is one of the only recordings I liked out of The MusikBox Self Tilted CD sessions.. This song is actually one of the last songs i wrote under the Vespertine Garden sessions. This song is basically about the Moral Decay of society and how we as a nation will one day perish for all our sins! may as well live it up while we can huh?
Dreemworld Dwell - Yet another song that was originally written during the Vespertine Garden times.. This is by far my favourite song, since it is about my favourite subject, SLEEP and the thrill of going into that alternate reality called the Dreemworld! Fun stuff..
The Final Days - This sing was written in the middle of 1999 when the whle Y2K scare was still among us! I really though we were all gonna bite the big one, so i wrote a song to go out with a bang! BOY WERE WE ALL JIPPED!!
Lost, Cold, Home - I never put this song on a CD or anything due to its disturbing personal value.. now, i could care less who hears it :-P This is a song about a man who loses someone and wait for their return.. nuff said..

Gino! I just heard Artificial Senses. I love the music and lyrics, made me feel something. You're voice sounds really good. Oh yeah. I saw you driving the other day. I tried honking at you but it was too late. Haha!
Hello. Hope everything's running as planned. I heard the new material, sounds wonderful, made me feel real nice. I was working on a song today, I think it's coming along fine. I should have it uploaded by the end of the week. I'll keep you updated. Take care, Gino.
The exhibit is an illuminated trip down the path of deep thought in consideration of where we are today in America. "It boiled down to a health conscience theme. The exhibit tells of what is literally in us or fed to us. I want truly organic materials to eat, and clean water to drink, not something someone "regulates" as healthy by adding something to it. It's my human right" The exhibit includes two 12ft pieces that provide quintessential ideas to this theme. "I'm not trying to be negative, just informative."
Thanks 4 being a friend! We'll see you on the 4th!!!
