We'll be adding more to this site over the next few weeks, including excerpts from the book, so come early, come often!
Threat of the week:
This one is from John T. Moran III, a Nevada attorney who was involved in CMKX towards the end of the three-year saga, and who recommended that CEO Urban Casavant flee the country to avoid criminal prosecution. After attempting to call Moran during The Faulking Truth Show on February 28, 2008, he returned my call the following week.
He opened with "I'm waiting to read your book so I can file a defamation of character suit against you." After professing his innocence for about ten minutes, he followed up his threat of a lawsuit with this classic quote:
"I'd rather set a dog on fire and watch it burn then kill it and put it out of its misery."
Moran was recently appointed by Governor Jim Gibbons to the State of Nevada Ethics Commission.
We'll be sending him his own personal copy of the book soon.

After years of being asleep at the wheel, Congress finally wakes up long enough to realize that the SEC was sleeping right next to them. And no one was minding the store:

The Naked Truth Stock market reform advocate John O'Quinn killed in car accident...http://lnk.ms/4GRMdPosted at 3:07 AM Oct 30 view more
About me: On March 19, 2004, I launched a website called The Faulking Truth, with modest goals and few expectations. One of the first pieces I wrote was an article about stock counterfeiting, commonly referred to as naked short selling, entitled “Financial Terrorism in America”. The response to that article was immediate and overwhelming.
The rest is history. Over the next four years, I and a handful of other talented writers wrote about a broad spectrum of topics that included politics, social issues, the environment, and of course...financial fraud. I personally became associated with the issue of stock market fraud and wrote over a hundred articles on the subject.
Fate and circumstance being what they are, that led me to Washington, D.C. for a conference on naked short selling, which led me to a meeting with a CMKX shareholder/activist named John Martin, who convinced me to write a story about this little company called CMKM Diamonds, Inc. (trading as CMKX). A project I believed would take only a few months to complete turned out to be so convoluted and complex that it dragged on for over two years.
But now, the book is available, so go buy it. HERE. NOW.
Looks like you may have "made a Mark". (pun intended). I wonder what you think about the other changes dear leader has proposed. You've been pretty quiet. (Hope things have been going well for you, btw.)
