About The National Shutup

The National Shutup er et band bestående af fire drenge, der spiller melodisk pop-punk. Musikken i sig selv, såvel som koncerterne, er en energisk kamp imod selvhøjtidelighed, og den ”gode smag”. I stedet levere de jordnærer banaliteter, som fanger lytterens fundamentale tanker og følelser. De forsøger at bryde grænsen mellem publikum og scenen. Og når der skrues op for forstærkerne, og energibølgerne brager langt udover scenekanten, bliver koncerterne til mere end bare en musikalsk oplevelse. Det er den fælles kærlighed til musikken, der er drivkraften for de fire fyre, og selvom musikken kan virke simpel, er det sange med flere lag og hvor der er kælet for detaljen.
