THE NATION BLUE: HOW TO BREAK BONES AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE
Some bands tell you they have had interesting years. Some bands break bones and bleed, live on stage in front of an Arena of Foo Fighter fans. Those are the bands that have interesting years!
To aide Matt’s recovery a trip to Brazil to work on his tan was in order, while Tom and Dan were shackled and tortured in a warehouse, before unleashing the fury in the studio.
In between games of tennis, saunas, and nature walks, The Nation Blue recorded some really angry songs in a relaxed environment.
The new album Protest Songs will be released in 2007.
Protest Songs is going to surprise and agitate you.
A tease of what is to come, We Lost Everything features the slight of hand of Dan McKay on percussion and additional Hammond organ by Paul Dempsey.
The new album 'Welcome To Murraysville' is now available worldwide from CDBaby. You can also get the album from Apple iTunes. Other digital distribution including MSN Music, Rhapsody and Napster will be available in the next few months.
Tym guitars is opening a new shop at 715 Ann street, the Valley this Sat, 19th April. Over 100 second hand guitars and also pedals, amps, hire gear etc. It's THE BEST guitar shop in Brisbane. Trust me. Come and check it out, you won't believe it.
It was awesome to see you at Maggotsville the other night. Protest Songs has fast become one of my favourite albums. As good live as it is on my stereo... hope to see you again soon.
Wish I could do the trip to Maggotsville from Melbz to see you guys, as it's a great line-up, with Grey Dats and Justice Yeldham, but alas, I work Satdees, so the 11 hour drive would have me there well and truly after the gig had finished. Also, the grind extravaganza at the Arty is hard to pass up. Still ... I might dish out the $$$ to see you at Minus the Bear, then see yas at the Tote a few days later. ROCK! P.S. can you please post the lyrics to Protest Songs?
Hey fellas, weird as thing happened then other day on my trip down the coast. Stopped by DFO in Essedon and stumble across both your albums there so of course i finaly get around to buying them both, but anyway finish the first album, switch over to the second and then just as Exile starts blarring away and then i see this huge powerstation just on the entrance to Geelong and i'm thinking that place looks realy familiar, expecialy those train tracks and then it clicks, the Exile video! i hope i'm actualy right so i dont seem like a complete idiot haha anyway keep up the awesome guys, hope to catch a gig in the future.
