   About Near Earth Objects
NEAR EARTH OBJECTS propels through space with palpable force. Melding interstellar sophistifunk with somewhat worldly and familiar grooves, NEAR EARTH OBJECTS recently entered Richmond’s musical stratosphere. An atomic anomaly with a melodic backbone, linked by fatty acid chains to genre and metronomic bending mechanisms, the band is calculating bunch, rigorous in its writing, critical of its conclusions. Bassist Nathan Goodwyn (The Switch, The Heavy Rotations) operates on minimalist tactics of low-end survival, while drummer Scott Milstead (Carbon Leaf) keeps time in morse code. Keyboardist Joey Ciucci (Good Dog, Curious Strange) is both the band's axis and its wheel, a sort of self-propelled generator running on biodiesel.

NEAR EARTH OBJECTS emphasizes the writing of interesting and enjoyable TUNES, a process we enjoy, and something we hope will nudge it all forward just a bit. We’re excited to be playing in Richmond, a town that so many outstanding musicians call home. Thank you for checking us out.
