EDDIE O’FLAHERTY
Director/Executive Producer/Co-writer
Eddie O’Flaherty was born and raised in Billerica, Massachusetts, about 20 minutes north of Boston. An athlete all his life, he’s a passionate Red Sox and Patriots fan. Eddie is extremely close to his two sisters and brother, all one year apart, (Eddie is 2 of the 4). He throws righty, kicks lefty, loves sushi, cooking, kayaking, golf, skiing, hiking, cycling, and his favorite movie is AMADEUS.
In 1993, Eddie began working as a tour guide at Paramount Pictures, where he met and fell in love with his wife, fellow tour guide, Christine. They married in November 1999.
In 1995, Eddie became the Executive Assistant to the President of Feature Production Management. He leveraged his position to use the studio as his own unique film school. While his day-job allowed the rare
opportunity to work alongside the film industry’s most accomplished writers, directors, producers, actors and below-the-line talent, at night and on weekends, Eddie would use the studio’s vast resources to write,
produce, direct and edit short films. He also wrote several spec features (two of which were optioned), and attended filmmaking classes at AFI and UCLA.
Eddie joined the editor’s union in 2000 and transferred to Paramount’s Post Production department as an apprentice, then assistant film editor.
In 2003, Eddie left Paramount to direct and produce FIGHTING TOMMY RILEY, his feature debut. The low-budget drama was shot on HD for $200K and premiered at the 2004 LA Film Fest. A domestic video deal enabled the film to be finished as hoped: with askip-bleach anamorphic film print. FIGHTING TOMMY RILEY was the first digital feature to utilize the evocative process; American Cinematographer ran a four-page article in its April 2005 issue. FTR won the Eastman Kodak Award at the 2004 Hampton’s Intl. Film Fest, and also won audience awards at the San Francisco Indie Fest and the Idaho Film Fest.
In May 2005, FTR opened in limited theatrical release to rave reviews. With almost no ad money, the movie still turned a profit and enjoyed an extremely successful DVD release.

The gorgeous romantic LA skyline and the revitalized downtown district with its loft condos are key elements of the film.
SYNOPSIS
Successful, powerful and beautiful, dealmaker Christine Letellier has it all -- including the one thing standing between her and a perfect place to live; hated neighbor Jeff Wallace.
Christine and her powerhouse finance Jonathan have plans to expand her dream condo into a duplex large enough to house both of their egos -- but thus far, her efforts have been thwarted by the equally stubborn Jeff – who just happens to be renting the cherished unit just above hers.
As though they relish their conflict, Christine and Jeff’s game of cat and mouse gets out of hand - then runs amok when Jeff receives an unexpected invitation to his ex-wife’s wedding. Desperate to prove his worth to his former spouse, Jeff turns to Christine for a deal. They turn more than a couple of heads when she poses as his fiancé! But, despite her underhanded intentions, the wedding gives Christine a different viewpoint on the simple pleasures in life - and on Jeff.
It takes Jonathan’s deceitful eviction of Jeff from the upstairs apartment
for Christine to realize where her heart really lies - causing her to re-negotiate her “deal” with The Neighbor.
