    .. .. ................ .. THE NEST is an all ages series of live gigs held in the main recording room of Megaphon recording studios. The aim of The Nest is to film and record each gig as to document the series and also provide awesome video clips and live recordings to a range of interesting local bands. We also aim to make Megaphon Studios a professional and unique live music venue that caters for an all ages audience... The venue is a very intimate space for music, and it has a much different vibe to pubs, clubs and most other music venues. It is a quiet space with high ceilings and wooden floorboards, creating a rich, warm, intimate sound. .... The first series of The Nest was held between April 2009 and May 2010, operated and setup by the Megaphon Studios Staff, Lamzis Productions video team, and the talented, hardworking Nest Volunteer squad. The series featured 6 gigs with 4 bands playing at each gig. The shows were all different in style and genre, ranging from rock to country, to electronic, pop and hip hop. Each show was filmed and recorded and the video clips are now live on our youtube page. The best clips from each performance will also be available on a compilation DVD shortly. Stay Tuned..... The second Series of The Nest (The Nest SEC) is due to kick off on Saturday July 24th.
