The Net meets on Friday nights at 8pm. We are excited about what the Lord is already accomplishing through this new ministry. If you are interested please don't hesitate to contact us on myspace. The Net is an independent and non-denominational ministry and it is for anyone between the ages of 17-30.
SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY -
The Net has a small group discussion-oriented bible study on Monday nights at 7:30pm at the Net 7333 McArdle Rd. Check the Net website "events schedule" and home page for specifics.
Childcare now provided at the Net for young adults' children from ages 2-6
The Net is a Christian, culturally friendly and spiritually adventurous young adults ministry for ages 17 through 30 in the Corpus Christi area. To accomplish its goals, the ministry uses various adventurous, creative and fun means while at the same time retaining a distinctive ministry perspective open to the work of the Holy Spirit and centered on the Bible as its final authority.
The Net’s five-fold objective is;.
• to reach this generation for Christ. Age focus 17-30
• to see young adults established in a lifestyle reflecting Biblical Christian values. Biblical truth should influence the way young adults think about the real world – about career, relationships, history, right and wrong, leadership, and ultimately demonstrate uncompromisingly the relevance of the Bible to everyday life.
• to introduce young adults to the joy of true Christian community and fellowship.
• for young adults to experience the Lord’s presence in worship and to grow to appreciate the special expressions of the power of the Holy Spirit.
• to equip and develop a new generation of leaders for our nation, the church, america's institutions and businesses.
The Net’s mission is not only to make Him known to this generation but to also know Him.

for sure bruddah, we need to have kayak races again....i feel i can beat you and Nathan, because, well you know....whitewater is my thing...or maybe cause God gives me the strength to survive the wild rapids....who knows...Lets get the kayak ministry goin!
no problem for the add... i am really glad i showed up at the net. when i walked in everyone was so nice... i plan to keep going and to make new friends in the process. :)
so likeeee when i first starting to come to the net likeee forever ago, i would check the net page every frieday night after getting out to add all the new awesome people i met! lol
it makes me laugh now. because i used to likeeee lovelovelove the shawn mcdonald song!! hehehe:)
