The New Division is a band from Riverside, California founded by John Kunkel. Beginning in 2005, The New Division started as a solo project which eventually formed into a full band. Attemping to find balance between electronics and guitars, TND's sound is one closely related to acts such as New Order and Depeche Mode.
"The New Divison: EP," being their first release, was launched August 27th, 2009. This EP contains five tracks currently on sale (iTunes, Napster, Amazon, Emusic, etc), including "Move," "Alive," and "Perception." The band is currently attemping to put together a single release of "20 Angels," which will contain several bonus mixes of the single.
Eventually, TND plan to release a full length LP sometime in late 2010. Unitl then, catch them at their many shows coming up!
