Jamin Bradley: Vocals/Keyboards/Programming While Jamin was expanding his knowledge of instruments, he joined a group of electronic DJs called "House Party". It was this group that created Jamin's love for electronic music and that love that created the idea for an electronic band.
Taylor Keating: Vocals/Keyboard/Programming The youngest of the four also happens to be one of the masterminds behind the music. Not long after learning guitar, Taylor became a musical genius and could create entire songs with professionalism well beyond his years. While he was looking for somewhere to use his gift he acquired a friendship with Jamin and he was drawn into this idea of creating new music.
Jaron Bradley: Background Vocals/Guitar Jamin's younger brother Jaron balances out NFS' sound with pure rock. While his attraction is normally aimed at the heavier sounding genres, Jaron took interest in "The Newfangled Sequence" and revived it with a sound that it was lacking. Whether it be a rippin' guitar solo or just a bunch of octave chords, Jaron has made it a point to bring his creative aspects to the Newfangled sound.
Michael "Koz" Kozma: Drums NFS spent quite a while searching for a drummer and in early 2008, they acquired one. While electronica was not necessarily a genre in his repertoire, the band brought him in and he learned right away. Koz is not only the rhythm to the band, but he is also the source for much of the band's laughter.
Jonathan "Scottie" Scott: Bass
When Scottie started hanging out with Koz, Koz showed him his band. Thinking that NFS was pretty sweet he started to help set up and take down the sets at the shows. After Scottie had been helping for a while the band decided they should add a bassist to the mix. Scottie was that man.

The Newfangled Sequence is a band of Christians looking to not only break the stereotypical sound of Christian music, but the sound of music all across the world. In order to get a taste of the variety of music they do, download their brand new album for free on the reverbnation player directly below this paragraph. Together this four-piece band has spent much time creating a new sound as a gift to the One who gave them the talent to do so. They recently finished their summer project, "Project: 111," which you can listen to in the reverbnation player below. This was an attempt to make 111 songs in 111 days, however the band only made it to 55. Nonetheless, they were able to come out with about two (possibly even three) CDs worth of quality material. The songs are currently being fixed up for the first release "Clockwork: A.M." (sequel to Clockwork: P.M.), which will be released very early in 2009.

I wish "we" were a bit more willing to just pull it all together. The other Keyboardist and myself are "all good." And my Sister is getting there on Bass. But the guy we were hoping to have play drums is concerned that we won't have enough time... But he still hasn't really shown up to a practice... He hasn't actually made a commitment and time is running out, so I'm assuming that's a no-go.I really dread going back to Midi Drums, but it's looking like we're gonna to have to. :)
So are you guys writing, trying to get shows, or... what's going down?
Writing a song here and there... And getting ready for a "show" at the Ionia fair grounds... It's crunch time right now... 'Cuz we'd like it to go quite well... and we just now learned all the material we'll be playing.
