The New Heathens are:
Butch Phelps - Guitars/Vocals
Nate Schweber - Singer/Songwriter/Guitars/Harmonica
Domenick Tiziano - Guitars/Vocals
Brandy Wood - Bass/Vocals/Riverdance
Eric Seftel - Drums
Influences
We're influenced by the Rolling Stones, Steve Earle, Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams, Warren Zevon, the Bottle Rockets, the Backsliders, Eric "Roscoe" Ambel, the BoDeans, the Jawhawks, Wilco, Golden Smog, Chuck Berry and a heap of others but not Uriah Heap (ok, maybe a couple of us but we were just experimenting).
Too country for the rockers and too rock for the country folks! The New Heathens are a New York City band with a solid foothold in rootsy rock ’n’ roll and a mix of country, folk and just a smidge of psychedelia all wrapped in skillfully crafted songs and strong lyrics.
Heralded (notorious) around the northeast for their energetic live shows, the New Heathens have shared stages with Old Crow Medicine Show, Jim Lauderdale, Chip Robinson (of the Backsliders) and Eric "Roscoe" Ambel (of the Yayhoos, Del-Lords and Steve Earle’s Dukes)
With members hailing from as far west as Montana, as far east as Massachusetts and places in between, they are brought together over their love of songs made when two guitars, bass and drums combine with good melodies, harmonies and lyrics.

I need a Heathen fix and I can't get to Baltimore! (I'll be in New Orleans) Ah well...I'll be thinking of you guys on my birthday. Light up a rain coat and burn it in effigy for me will, ya Nate?
To quote Nate "I love Baltimore" - and to quote myself "especially when the New Heathens are playing the Waterfront"! It was a great girls night out! Glad we were able to work it around the show. Had a BLAST!
