The New Humans came together in June 2006, recording some demos and playing a short series of gigs as a three-piece. Their first recordings picked up airplay on local and national radio, and they spent two months in Chris Moyles' Top 10 Unsigned Bands.
The band had been on the lookout for a keyboard player, and a chance meeting outside a brothel led to Harvey being recruited.
The band immediately began recording their debut album, but went insane in the studio, and decided to release intermittent EPs. A few promo copies of the album slipped out, if you've got one it' a collectors item. Hang on to it.
The band split in January 2009 and are working on new projects. Watch this space for info.
