The New Kings of Rhythm, a well established group from the Chester County area have proven over and over again that what people really want is good quality dance music. With an Eight piece lineup we have something for everyone; Smoking guitar, great keyboards, and a tight three piece horn section. We also sport triple power drums (full kit, timbales, and congas) combined with thumping bass. Im sure youll agree that no one quite does it like the New Kings. At least anymore, thats right we are dedicated to preserving the big band sound of the golden age of live music (loosely 1950-1980) and hopefully providing the fuel to propel the good vibes straight until the edge of time. Currently we play a heavy mix of funk, rockers reggae, Rhythm & Blues originals and covers making us the perfect band for any occasion.
The New Kings have opened up for Grammy winning Reggae singer Beres Hammond, and played a meet and greet press party for Buju Banton. The New Kings have also performed at the Blues 2000 and Beyond festival, the Turks head music Festival, and the Easton Blues Jam. It was at the Easton Blues Jam that the New Kings flaunted their diversity by not only playing their own set but also backing up the tried and true blues man Roy Gaines as the festival headliners. To the TRIBE FANS. We love you and hope that whatever you choose to do in this year, do it with audacity. Tell your critics to either get on board or out the way and wait at home for their social security checks. PEACE. DH The New Kings of Rhythm
