The New Low started to exist in 2005, during that year the founders of the band Seb (lead guitar) and Jopie (guitar, vocals) started practising with Sander (drums, percussion) all the band members where quite satisfied with the sound of the songs.
While in search for the right vibe, after thrilling performances in Paradiso & the Melkweg with Johan, Seb took over the bassguitar and Zakka entered the band.
The New low has its own sound, the songs mainly written by Jopie, are emotional, brute and heavy rock ’n roll songs from the hart and experience of Jopie. The New Low also likes to play unplugged, just to let people enjoy their rock music in a different way.
In 2007 The New Low has released their first full length album at Podium Hardenberg (June 8th). Their first Dutch tour lies ahead, which after the try outs off course will spread across borders!
