Some people like to garden, cook food or listen to Alanis Morissette. I do all that, but I also really like to make pop and electro. The New Rochelle Rotary Club is my own personal musical output. It's full of sloppy pop and way-to-happy-or-way-to-sincere-songwriting that I would never forcefully subject anyone to. This music hides in the corners of everything else in my life. If you've managed to find it, listen to it and enjoy it, then I personally thank you for your time.
To give you background, I'm in the band CONSTANTS, and I co run RADAR RECORDINGS, among other things. (see personal myspace page for further details). A lot of people ask about my choice of names. So here you go.
A) I tend to name songs/albums/bands based on drives I do regularly. There is a sign between Old Saybrook, CT and Brooklyn, NY that says "New Rochelle" and "The Pelhams". Duncan and I thought this would be a good, or terrible indie rock show.
B) I've seen the film "Catch Me if You Can" to many times.
C) Bette Midler is the star of "Rochelle Rochelle", a Broadway Musical on Seinfeld.
D) All of the above.
So far, TNRRC has recorded 3 or 4 albums and released a mammoth double record on Radar Recordings. I hand assemble all of them, which is why sometimes mailorder is slow. sorry.

Air Currents on repeat is an entire night of some of the best booty bumping action ever. [in that massive attack kinda way with a little more dip in your hip, mach5] keep a copy in the stereo wherever ass gets tapped..
