Formed in 2001 by musicians with a passion for British music from the mid '60's to mid 70's, The English Channel is a band like no other. The English Channel plays some of the most memorable and influential music ever written. Their goal was to make each song sound as authentic as humanly possible. From the legendary guitar solos to the multi-part harmonies, right down to the smallest detail (like the fireman's bell in "Penny Lane" or the castanets in "Funeral for a Friend"), every song would sound exactly as the audience remembered it. What the "Fab Faux" does for The Beatles' songs, The English Channel does for the rest of the British classic rock bands' music.
Voted "Most Fun Band" by the readers of Richmond, VA's STYLE WEEKLY magazine, audiences of all ages have responded with wild enthusiasm, singing & dancing along to nearly every song.
If you love British music from the 60's & 70's, you must see an English Channel performance. The English Channel is a time machine that takes you back to where you once belonged.
