Formed in 2005 at the lower end of the powerpop revival The Nica-Teens started out as Sleeping Aids and Razorblades and played sloppy powerpop. As with most bands, after a while a change was in the air. The Nica-Teens started to write songs less about reviving the past and more about the now. A couple EPs under there belt and a handfull of shows the The Nica-Teens are poised to be the next buzz band, just ask anyone who has seen them on a good night.
