I just want people to be able to come out to a show and forget about their problems. I want people to come to one of my shows and have a good time, and leave with a smile on their face. I want to make people happy. I want to tour, see the world, and reach out to as many people as possible with my music. .... I have one simple goal with The Night Alive, and that is to make you smile. ""Tik Tok," the debut single from the young electropop singer Ke$ha, is a thick, buzzing pileup of synths and disco beats, draped with heavily Auto-tuned lyrics about getting thrown out of nightclubs and brushing one's teeth with whiskey. It's not a song that lends itself to the "heartfelt acoustic ballad" treatment. But that's the approach Rod Pires, a teenager from Wakefield, Rhode Island, takes in the above clip.
