Message from the band....

We, the band, would like to express our thanks to the many thousands of people who have been fans and supported us over the years. Its been a humbling experience to feel the love from so many of you and a privilege and pleasure to perform and share our music with you. For this, we will be eternally grateful. ITS BEEN A GREAT RIDE! Thank you for everything and we hope to have left our mark on you in some small way....you certainly left your mark on us. Now, we are "on our way"........

Yours with deepest affection,

Noah, Aeb and Steve

The Nightcrawlers

Latest news....

The Nightcrawlers are on a permanent hiatus since our last show together at the Phyrst on New Years Eve 2008. There are no plans to reform in the near future, however, there may be an occasional "renuion" show or two. Noah and Aeb will be in Los Angeles pursuing career goals in music. Steve is moving forward with other musical projects in the State College area.

Please check in with our myspace as this will be how we keep in touch with everyone to let you know about reunion shows and new bands/projects NC members are involved in. We will be posting bulletins as well. "Blue Silver" IS NOW AVAILABLE on CDbaby (click the Blue Silver album cover). Thanks for the inquiries about it!!!!

About us....

Passionately delivered vocals, fiery-smooth guitar, lofting flute, a tight-ass rhythm section and songs that stick in your head like gum to the bottom of your shoes. The Nightcrawlers groove strikes an affinity in your soul that is undeniable and often addictive!

The Nightcrawlers have been one of State College, PA's hottest bands. The NC's style is not easily defined. Their original and fresh sound mesh the influences of each band members own personal style and flavour. Rock, jazz, funk, worldbeat, latin, rockabilly and alt-country/americana are combined with insightful lyrics creating a style that can only be described as "uniquely Nightcrawlers".

The NC's exploded on to the scene in 2003, ripping up stages with their fresh brand of music and receiving regional critical acclaim. Dennis Fallon of the Centre Daily Times says, "The Nightcrawlers have become the new 'IT' band in State College". Jim Price of PA Musician Magazine says, "This was my first extended look at The Nightcrawlers' roster at full-strength, and I was blown away! Musicianship and this group's constant blending and shifting of styles were the highlights of this show". The Nightcrawlers also released two CDs: the 5 song EP, "The Nightcrawlers" in 2005 and the full-length CD, "Blue Silver" in 2007. Both received much regional praise and both were listed as top CDs released in PA by The Pennsylvania Musician Magazine.

Sad for us your lives are taking new paths... but it is the paths we take that teach us more of who we are and what we need. Mabey with a little luck we will be able to make one of the final shows and if not, mabey we'll get to see you over the 4th :)
It's always a pleasure listening, (Thank you!) and I look forward to the new inspirations you gather along your journey.

Take care and the best of wishes for you all!
Hugs!

""Thanks for being my friend, Do you know the relationship between your two eyes? They blink together, they move together, they cry together, they see things together and they sleep together BUT THEY NEVER SEE EACH OTHER... That's what friendship is. Your aspiration is your motivation, your motivation is your belief, your belief is your peace, your peace is your target, and life is like hell without FRIENDS. It's "world best friends week". Who is your best friend? Send this to all Your good friends. Even me, if I am one of them. ...ok..thanks""
