first known as the nipple erectors, this was shane macgowan's first band, prior to the formation of the pogues. the band released 4 singles between 1978-81. beginning in 1976, macgowan was a member of the bromley contingent, a tight-knit group of original fans of the sex pistols, along with billy idol and siouxsie sioux.
