| About The Nite Owl - Dayton, OH |
The Nite Owl started as a small coffeehouse in the early 80's, but soon expanded into a full bar and niteclub. Originally featuring the best jazz and blues from the region, The Nite Owl has grown with the Dayton music scene, becoming a home for the best independent ROCK, ALTERNATIVE, REGGAE, SKA, HIP-HOP, ELECTRONICA, BLUES, COUNTRY and METAL in the region and beyond.
Working with local promoters like Do Tell Records and Skratchmatik, The Nite Owl has hosted many notable national acts, including Ted Leo, Joan of Arc, KRS-One, Limbeck, and many more. The club has hosted notable regional acts like Shrug, Captain of Industry, The Human Reunion, and Sputnik Halo.
