The Noise Club Band is an ever-charging, ever-evolving happening; blurring the line between audience and performers. With influences ranging from the Cockettes to the Fluxus movement, the Noise Club Band's show is a tribal-punk noise therapy session; encouraging people to experiment and involve themselves through the mediums of dress, music, sound and noise. Or, just an excuse to get dressed up, get wasted, have a dance and make a lot of noise. Past, present and all future members of the club are encouraged to dress up and bring instruments/noise making devices, (i.e. drums, percussion, vaccuum cleaners, guitars, keyboards, megaphones, kazoos, melodicas, whatevz) to shows and join in on the chaos.
When this gets boring it's over.

We are most pleased to have l'enfent terrible of Melbourne downbeat, Thomas Campbell (aka. Soup) coming down to do a feature slot and no doubt jam up as well. Soup, former producer of Melbourne Trip-hop band 'Miso' has been reveling in his downtime/studio time after the band played there last show two months ago. Soup's production style has developed with an emphasis on live sound manipulation and next week's OUTPOST will be a continuation of this approach, although now he will be incorporating his guitar into his arsenal of sonic material.
Jammers, come on down and get set up early. As always, new players/projectors are most welcome so tell your friends and.. Bring your gear and have no fear!
