Poppy the clown meets Les Claypool in the Soundgarden on the Black Sabbath, Medeski & Wood are playing in the background as you watch the kids air guitaring to Frank Zappa on their MP3 players, a Mastodon forces you to inhale. By the looks of it you are no longer in Kan's ass. You're not quite sure what to make of all this noise... it has a familiar feel but the smell is all wrong! "Well" you say to yourself, "as they say about the weather in Chicago...if you don't like it, wait 5 minutes".
Erik & Pete both founding members of legendary local bands Cult of One and The Illuminati had been experimenting with other avenues of musical output when Dave (formerly of Bodyfarm & Headbolt) posted an add looking to form a new band. Erik's response to the add was a welcome sight as Dave had played a short stint with The Illuminati and both were familiar with each other's playing styles. Shortly after Dave and Erik started composing new music the opportunity arose to recruit Pete's guitar playing prowess back into the mix! With the three composing music at an expedited pace they searched for someone who could lay down some vocals, this was not expected to be easy as the music was so "different" from anything they could describe...

wowwwww. theres like alll this drama right now with my friends and one of my friends from marengo. this girl (from marengo) called and her bf was threatening my friends that he was gonna come slit their throughts and all this crap. i was at JAKES when it happend and now my friend that was the one tlking to my friend from marengo wants meeee to take the blame for it and i didnt do ANYTHING... but the cops are involved and everything. idkkkk AND my MOM is taking the girl from MARENGOS side over ME?!!!
