Influences
Our influences are a very eclectic mix of 60's music such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, Cream, all the way to Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and also more modern bands such as Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Reverend Horton Heat, the White Stripes..... Basically anything that rocks and doesn't sound like Nickelback.

The New and improved Nones are here as a 4 piece band now. Our music ranges from straight up blues to psychedelic madness. Our goal is to turn people back on to music, to teach them that they dont have to be told what to listen to by evil TV shows, that they can choose for themselves what they like and dislike and to speak up about their beliefs. So I guess were all about getting people together for change, get off your asses America and Listen to The Nones. The Nones use Fender, Vox, Hartke, Crate, Ibanez, Aspen, Peavey, Brian moore, gibson, pearl
im still not sure when ill be making it up to ct. sometime before crabbing season opens. maybe youll be playing a show at the red door and my grandma will be there. that way i can cross 3 things off my list of shit to do while back in CT.
new page looks cool guys, diggin the vids! I gotta check you guys out live soon, won't be able to make it down tonight. Should be easier once I move my ass down to CT. You playin drums Steve!? nice! Later!
OK... so you guys NEED NEED NEED to cover "Embryo" by Pink Floyd. I have a SICK live version that I can HEAR you guys doing.
Anyway... sorry about my no show at my own gig Sat... I opened for Ronnie Spector instead, but I think the Jimmy Jam had a bigger AND of COURSE BETTER crowd!
Hey thank you guys so much for playing our party earlier this month. You guys were a huge hit. And if you guys are down we'll be having more parties soon. Pam and I are going to Canada later this week and I'm swamped with an editing job that I need done before we go. When I get home my first priority is getting the footage of each person's set to them. I think you guys are going to like it. Plus our pool will be clean and swimmable by then, and we'll be throwing our second party of the season.
Sweet show @ MarkEd's - we're really glad we could chill with you guys there. It sounded really good and I can't wait to see you guys again at the VFW later this summer. Peace & Love
Tales from the Convent, album name? Love it... also yeah, thought I saw the nuclear bomb thing in there... looks great.
As for Death of the Bunny Rabbit- the chirpy noises are awesome, the lead-up is great. One thing I would say is the empty space can be condensed at all? Less pauses in between the parts? I like the trippy sound of it all, and if you use a lot of this type of sound throughout some of your other songs it would probably work as well. But it's a neat little trip down the rabbit hole, so to speak.
The guitar and whispers at around 10:30 are great... that whole minute and a half build-up to the 12:06 mark is awesome, just wish the guitar wouldn't fade out a few seconds later back into the background... continue with that riff and flesh it out. It's awesome.
thanks dude - it's the zoom "h4 handy recorder". It's pretty nice. good to get shit down without really writing it all the time. yea! one of these days i'll want to really record some of my songs, so yeah, it would be awesome for you to do some lead! later dudes!
