The Norgaard Jones Project started with the meeting of two world class musicians, Guitar virtuoso Curtis Jones, and Jazz Fiddle Wizard Martin Norgaard, A new band called Acoustic Room would be the result of that meeting between Jones and Norgaard. The group would tour for the nest year and then put out their first CD called "acousticroom" on Major Records. After two years with the band, Martin and Curtis were making plans to do a Flamenco/New Age/Jazz project together, the result would be The Norgaard Jones Project "Dreaming of Spain". The project was the start of two different worlds coming together to make magic in the Art form of Music. The CD quickly became a very popular gem with music lovers the world over, and still to this day remains Curtis' number 1 seller, and most popular release to date. In January of 2007, Curtis and Martin spent a week in Highlands N.C. recording the Norgaard Jones Project 2 "Visions of Salvador", which will be a Flamenco/World Music tribute to the late great Spanish Artist/Visionary Salvador Dali. Mr. Jones and Mr. Norgaard will start touring with the project in Mid 2007, so be sure to check for dates as they come in. The Group also on this Project added a very special treat, The amazing Voice of Holly Jones on two Georgous Compositions by Curtis Jones. Holly will also be touring with the group playing Guitar and Singing, the group will also include Fretless Bass and Percussion.
