The Norway Agenda - EP
Available for $3 at all our shows!
So this is what happens when stoner rock crosses paths with ambition -- a constant tightrope act, roaming the fields of melody-driven classic rock with a forward-looking modern rock sensibility, The Norway Agenda is that kid who could be friends with both the homecoming king and the acne-faced loner who always got sent to the counselor's office for painting disturbing images in art class.
Since their inception in the summer of 2005, a result of the generally uninteresting process of forming a band through music store flyers, the group has created an ever-evolving sound that was once just the exploitation of a few minor chords played through a distortion pedal, but has progressed to something much more interesting and layered. Now, The Norway Agenda is a balanced combination of explosive percussion, melodic & carving bass, tuneful yet attacking guitar, and vocals which complete a sound that is as dark as it is uplifting.
Hey, Derek. It's been a while since we had contact. Noticed you weren't playing friday, so it'd be cool to see ya at the loft 150 when we open for The Angel/Devil! We're on our 4th drummer, haha. He's good and you'll enjoy the punch he brings. Come check us out!
Hello, friends! A quasi-personal note requesting your presence at Barleycorn's Friday March 28 to see The Terrible Airplane, Juan Prophet Organization, and Peerless Princess of the Plains. Just be there. It will rock.
