About the not knowing

Maybe my resistance to publishing my poems led to the inevitable urge to find a better container for them, better than just a book with pages. Dont get me wrong, nothing against another book on the shelf, but sadly, poetry is not a product that is often consumed. There is a certain allergy against it. I started making songs about two years ago, and more productively this past year. As I started, the guitar was not heavy on my hands, I had held it being a child but it sure was a source of difficulties. It was not like a pen on a blank page. But I guess it only takes time until you get used to each other, and Im still on the way to that. I have also made poems of other poets into songs: Dorothy Parker, Anne Sexton, Rupert Brooke…Theres an inmense source of texts that were written a long time ago which sound as if they had been written today. So that is what I do. The not knowing is just me for the time being, even though I have been and am always willing to collaborate with other musicians /////////////////.r{}*************////////////////////// the not knowing son mis poemas convertidos en canciones. también poemas de algunos de los poetas que más admiro. no hay pedales, ni efectos, ni coros. sólo mi voz y una guitarra, a veces también un autoarpa prestada. así están las cosas hasta que empiecen a complicarse.
