Maybe my resistance to publishing my poems led to the inevitable urge to find a better container for them, better than just a book with pages. Don..t get me wrong, nothing against another book on the shelf, but sadly, poetry is not a product that is often consumed. There is a certain allergy against it. Pure ignorance I guess, because I..ve read poetry that was more amusing than any comediant. So I started making songs about two years ago, and more productively this past year. When I started, the guitar was not heavy on my hands I had held it being a child but it sure was a source of difficulties. It was not like a pen on a blank page. But I guess it only takes time until you get used to each other, and I..m still on the way to that. I have also made poems of other poets into songs: Dorothy Parker, Anne Sexton, Rupert Brooke…There..s an inmense source of texts that were written a long time ago which sound as if they had been written today. So that is what I do. The not knowing is just me for the time being, and it has added enormous joy to my life.//////////////////.r{}**************//////////////////////
