Formed on 20 March 2008, I decided to create The November Module (TNM) as a side project for myself. I've had an off and on affair with the guitar and felt perhaps I needed to take more initiative in my musical side. I'm not looking for a label or other band members; this is strictly a solo run. I have a few notebooks of songs--pretty much lyrics nothing more. TNM is just a way for me to unwind and if I end up getting serious about writing and composing again I'll be sure to post things.
This is also a means to copyright the band name. Thanks to MySpace for dating when TNM joined the social networking scene as it was the same day I thought of the name and where I wanted to take this project.
As for a background on me: I've played guitar (on and off) since I was 17. I taught myself some basics, took some lessons, then left for the military. I have a wide collection of guitars and effects and find myself dabbling in playing when I need to unwind from work, etc. It's for these reasons that I don't expect much out of TNM, if anything it'll be an outlet for my creative expression--when and if that gets re- sparked.
Ultimately, I would love to play one gig in my life...we'll see how that goes.
