Music in the Natchitoches and the surrounding areas seemed to be same ol' same ol' and then a group of college students decided that people needed something different. Something that was fun to listen to and made people want to move. In the spirit of bands that had gone before them such as The Meters, Galactic, Howard Shaft, James Brown, Greyboy Allstars, and so many others, Brother John and the Snackpack (later thankfully changed to The Entertainers) delivered music that would make people haaaaaappppyyy!! This tight knit group of musicians strive to make people feel the groove while staying alert to what people want to hear. Come out and experience THE ENTERTAINERS doing what they do best.... entertain!!!!

Wow! That brings back some good memories...luckily, not the crappy ones. It makes my neck muscles automatically tighten up when I hear these tunes. Keep it up guys. Ohh, I can't say this to anyone up here because they will think I'm "name dropping" but James Cook and I had dinner with Victor Wooten. The next week I saw Michael McDonald in a rehearsal studio. His band is FANTASTIC (LA GUYS). Then on a weirder note, I saw Ben Folds in the mall this past Friday. Nashville is WEIRD like that. You guys got to get up here sometime.
Couple of familar names in you guys group! Went to school with Gregg and Mr. Chris Hampton use to play drums in an old band of ours, both are very tight musicians!
