We reckon it was pirates

It used to be all about the drinking. Now it's all about listening to records, going to work, and loving on my woman. I suppose I should mention that sometimes there's some writing going on, but it's more for my amusement than anyone else's.

I'm teaching myself how to do stencils and screenprinting is next on the agenda. Maybe some improvement on the whole photography thing... it might sound boring, but it's far more fulfilling than liquor and bars ever were.

That's not to say I don't still go to shows. Rock shows. Punk shows. Shows where there's cigarette smoke hanging in the air. My ears ringing for hours afterward. Cheap beer and finger pointing while you sing along until your throat goes raw.

Music is life to me. Dancing in boxers and a t-shirt to your favorite song, even if it's in front of the living room window. Singing to the radio, even if the windows are down and traffic hasn't moved in ten minutes.

Fuck you, this means more to me than anything. Call it rock star journalism.
