The top cats of Nutty
(these are seven swingin' dicks!)
..
Jazz on the Rocks:
A guy walks into a tiki lounge with a beautiful blonde on his arm. The bartender asks, in a melodic voice, "What'll it be, hmmmm?"
As the couple mull over the drinks menu the guy responds, "Okay, what's a Magic Trane Ride?"
"That's Steppenwolf Gold with a Coltrane chaser," beams the barkeeper.
The patron smiles. "Yeah, I'll have a double. How about you, baby?"
The girlfriend can't decide. Suddenly, a light bulb goes on above her head. "Hey, you got any of that Lynyrd Skyn--", but the bartender cuts her off.
"Uh-uh", he quips, pointing to a sign on the wall mirror behind him, "no Freebird, no Stairway!" The blonde is crestfallen.
"Tell ya what, kitten," he is quick to add, "I'm gonna mix you something special, one of our latest concoctions that I know you'll dig...it's a new house favorite." And with that, he goes to work on her drink.
Moments later, the blonde is nearly orgasmic with her first sip. "Omygod!! What IS this?"
The bartender leans in with a proud grin...
"Hendrix blue label with a shot of Mancini. We call it the Purple Panther."
It's called "Jetsetter Jazz", and it's comin' from NUTTY!!
Currently, Nutty is behind closed doors, recording tracks for the new cd, "Jazz For Jetsetters". Some promo video from their Alvas show is also in the editing stages...
***Fall is here (kinda)... perfect time for jetsettin'!

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
Hello Nutty, Blinking reveals the true visage of beauty hidden within your eyes. You ever remind me of the enigma of happy thoughts I once forgot. Entranced by the sweet harmony of your lips, I gaze beyond reason to find the oasis of your brilliant soul. A starfish's lifelong hallucinations of gelatin pools and of actuaries floating upon the foam and reciprocal ohm. I relentlessly desire cotton candy lollipops. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. Polished rock candy comes ever to mind when thinking of you. I sense wild vapors of sweet champagne in your larynx. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. Your eyes are like spheres of crystal water filled with shimmering dreams. May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux.
