   About The NYC Composers Meetup Collaborators
It all started in the Tada Theater in February of 2008. Michael Mantasci had some material that he wanted to get out and he met Jeff Levine who has also been doing some stuff, goofing around with Pro Tools and what not. So after that Michael mailed Jeff an audio cassette with a little guitar hook. When Jeff received the cassette he immediately jotted down some lyrics added a bridge and started laying down the recording of "Somewhere in Brooklyn". The hope is that there can be more collaboration efforts in the NYC Composers Meetup and more networking and perhaps there can be some success with our compositions.
