We are the Oasthouse, Rainham's only alternative club. Created around 1968 with the Rainham and Wigmore Community Association, the building serves as both a community centre and a social club. There are many different activities that go on at the centre but the purpose of this MySpace page is to promote to you the Oasthouse Social Club.

A place for like minded alternative people to hang out, the Oasthouse (or the "Oast" as affectionately called by some older members) is open Mondays, Thursdays and Saturday from 7:30pm to 11pm, offering cheaper drinks than most, pool, darts and a friendly atmosphere. We also have event nights, as well as the twice monthly gig nights that are advertised here.

We're free on normal nights, and only £3 for gigs, with most special event nights running at only £1.50. It's a great place to hang out with friends, only two seconds from Rainham Train Station, so easy to get to and from. And we're not going anywhere Medway - we're gonna rock your socks off.
