About Theo Bard

My name is Theo Bard. I live in London, write in London, and sing in London. I'm engaged in ongoing struggles against apathy, sore throats, television, indie rock music, gluttony, and my greatest nemesis of all - cheesy lyrics! I'm becoming increasingly concerned about climate change and our government's lack of vision in helping to combat it. This page is all about lyrics, so I hope you catch some of them. Watch this space for new tunes and other good stuff.

I recently put out the Listen Carefully EP, and I'ĺl be releasing an album later this year.

In June 2008 I was one of 29 climate change protesters who blockaded Drax power station by climbing on a train loaded with coal. Drax is the largest emitter of carbon dioxide in Europe, and we prevented it from taking any deliveries of coal. We are to be tried by jury this July; many of my songs explore and explain why someone might choose to do such a thing.
