The Ocean Buried is a Powerpop/ Electro band that is radiating success in Canada’s music scene. Using a cross Canada high school tour, a brand new single, and appearances on Warped Tour and MuchMusic; they are flooding into iPods and stereo’s everywhere.
The release of their freshman E.P., “Can You Spill A Secret?” and the touring that followed has generated a serious following across the Canadian music scene. “It’s easy to see why The Ocean Buried had a decent sized crowd at the Kevin says stage” said the Toronto Independent Music Scene of The Ocean Buried’s performance at the Toronto stop of Van’s Warped Tour. The Ocean Buried have proven that they have what it takes by playing with the likes of Alexisonfire, Metric, Stereos, Silverstein, and many others in the past few months.
With a brand new CD in the works, “Radiation” has given fans a taste of what is to come from The Ocean Buried. They have been working closely with producer Jamie Aplin, who produced part of their first E.P to create a fresh and exciting new feel for fan’s to enjoy. The Ocean Buried is looking forward to another high school tour this coming January, where they have the opportunity to be role models for the Canadian youth, while promoting their brand new C.D. They expect to be releasing a music video advertising the bands new CD release in January 2010.
