The Odd Lamb is the name that I - Jonathan Atchley - make music under. I make music, along with visual art, in order to talk about things in a creative language that you can't do in words - so writing about it is strange in that way - - I record, play, layer, mix, sample, produce, compose, etc. etc. all the music - I do this because I love learning/living - I really feel compelled to talk about these things through visual art/music - I mainly just love to laugh/mess around and think deeply - so those things get kinda mixed together in ways too - I'm a very playful person in thought and feeling - I'm always tinkering around and doing weird things to see what happens - Which can make my art kinda annoying and ambiguous/disconneted at times but lively, raw, and inventive too I guess -
The music is mostly just crazy fun and catchy experimental avant la guardia indie-folk-pop -crinkle chap slam dust...napkins...chair - what?.
