Who's the righteous artist you ask...
Robert Karl Blake.
Robert Blake has been a Portland Artist for the last two years. To bide his time between gallery openings he has been working freelance on projects ranging from national business logos, animation and print design. Mixing inspirations from working on ranches in southern California to battling bureaucracy at the Portland Union Pacific he enjoys expressing his outlook on the beauty and ironies of daily life.Living in Portland has allowed Robert the luxury of experiencing a rapidly growing market place while working his way into the collectors market.

The real season for these parties is finally here. That means tons of friends, tons of booze, tons of art, tons of fun, and tons of PARTY!
Friday May 4th @ the Office on 22nd & East Burnside, 8-11pm.
Who?: The 511 Show... Featuring art and antics from the legitimate & honorary tenants of 511 NE 9th. Including, but not limited to Forgash, British Sarah, Neir, Scotty, Emily, Coyle, Dan, Shelby, etc.
What to Expect?: Quite the instalation, using various mediums (Photos, carcasses, paint, found art, print media, rock music, and social awkwardness.
At the party... stacked up bikes around the block, free wine & snacks (for a few minutes), steamed up windows, sidewalk party (cover up your booze please), deals on everything in the shop, the glamorous Office Staff, beautiful people, lurking hobos, cops, & the liquor commisioner might make an appearance.
How to keep it from getting shut down?: Bring brown paper bags. Don't be totally retarded out in front of the store.
This show is going to be very cool, and a fitting kick off to a Wet Hot American Summer. Come give Friday night a proper kick off.

You guys ROCK! I have yet to actually step foot in your store. But I have these really awesome friends that go there quite often and buy some merch for me.
