THE OFFICER & ELIOS | Pure Freestyle Sound. Im Januar 1999 ging das Freestyle Label FREEFILES mit seiner Debuet Produktion an den Start: CRY von THE OFFICER. Ein neuer Freestyle Artist war geboren und der bis heute anhaltende Erolg dieses Titels spricht für sich. Auf der Pomotion Tour zu CRY, die THE OFFICER durch ganz Deutschland führte, lernte er den Italiener ELIOS kennen. Man performte gemeinsam und stellte schnell fest, auf den gleichen Sound zu stehen. Die Idee zur gemeinsamen Single folgte schnell. Nach dem grossen Erfolg dieser ersten gemeinsamen Arbeit, der LA MUSICA EP folgten noch die gemeinsamen Maxi CDs BABY GIMME ALL YOUR LOVE und PARTY. Besonders der Titel LA MUSICA ist heute aus den Freestyle Sets der DJ´s nicht mehr wegzudenken und der Sound dieser Produktion wurde sehr oft kopiert. Nach zahlreichen Live Gigs, TV Shows und Radio Interviews legten THE OFFICER & ELIOS eine Pause ein, um ihre Soloideen umzusetzen. So erschien im im Winter 2003 der Solo Track PARTYZONE von THE OFFICER, der auf dem gleichnamigen Long Player zu finden ist. ELIOS punktete mit seinem Solotrack TRUE LOVE und dem zugehörigen beliebten Videoclip, gedreht in seiner Heimat Sardinien. In der Zeit der Solopfade haben beide Künstler verstärkt realisiert, wie gut Ihre Stimmen harmonieren und sind erneut mit Produzent KALVIN MADISON ins Studio gegangen. Es entstand BUTTERFLY - nach drei Jahren der erste gemeinsame Track dieses wohl erfolgreichsten europäischen Freestyle Duos. Wie bei ihrem Erfolgstitel LA MUSICA haben THE OFFICER & ELIOS auch bei BUTTERFLY ihre einzigartige Kombination aus italienischen Versen und englischem Refrain eingesetzt.
