_The Officers’ debut show took place in London at Alan McGee’s Death Disco, who requested that the band played the club, after discovering their boisterously destructive home demos posted online. Assignations at Being Boiled and the Camden Barfly swiftly followed, which led to them being invited to play the monster indie-dance club night Insomniacs’ Ball.//_

The Officers have just released their first single 'Red Chapter' through Propaganda/PIAS records, which was recorded with longtime Radiohead producer and engineer Graeme Stewart, and have recently started work on their debut album planned for general release in late autumn 2009.//
It's already shaping up to be a frantic mix of gutter-skank anthems and glacial menace....///_
