Well, here it is... The OFFICIAL "Boneyard Elixirs" MySpace profile.
The first four recordings are with our good friend, R.S. (Black Lung) Lowe, on Bass, who has left this two-bit, hillbilly, punk joke to go back to collage! These songs we're recorded by Sound Butcher Studio, AKA- Mike Wilson! We are working on some new recordings for a CD we're calling: Hell Bent 45 It's taking way too loooong! Anyway, we are The Elixirs (used to be called Boneyard Elixirs), a "100% D.I.Y., Cowpunk-Rock 'N' Roll Trio" (Whatever that means!) from "The City of Gas", Indiana, USA. We've been playing, writing, recording, and havin' a ball for a few years now. We've played a few shows with some of the coolest Psychobilly, Punk, Country, Rock & Roll, & Jam bands in Indiana, Ohio, & Tennessee. We've even had a little "air time" on 106.9 FM's local rock show and are workin' to get on some more local broadcast and internet radio programs. We’re also starting to draw the interest of A&R people from L.A. as well as the Boston, Massachusetts area. (Who would have thunk it?) Thanks to all who have written to us and left cool comments... If you'd like to book our act, we are avalable most every Saturday and we "work for gas money." Right now we can play just about anywhere in our home state and neighboring states (for the right price! Send us a message and we'll discuss it.) We'd love to take our punkabilly show onto your stage soon!
WARNING: THIS IS AN AUDIO UGLY ALERT!
We are just one of the many fiendish artists featured on Extreme Volume Pop’s: Audio Ugly Series. This work, from the mischievously talented mind of artist, musician and author Tom Baker, is a bold compilation of audio experimentation from the likes of Yellow Dead Betty’s, FxDx, Night Gaunt, Halloween, Abe Sandoval, Children of Odin, Fixated Spasm, Laughing Goo, Tophopolis, Extreme Volume Pop, Toby’s Chastisement, [Artist Unknown], Wounded Infidel, Joy Von Spain, The Boneyard Elixirs, Good Mourning, The Caucasians, Red Skull (Maxime Turgeon), Dead Black Arms, The Soybeans, Krafthammer, Earth Incubator, Bipolar Joe, Red Soundwave, and Erarit Jaritjaka. This big multi-volume series can and should be downloaded right now. Just go to: www.archive.org/details/opensource_audio. From there, search for Audio Ugly or Extreme Volume Pop, it’ll take you right to it. But let us warn you, this masterwork of Noise, Punk, Gothic Orchestration, Metal, Electronica, Rockabilly, and Experimental Audio Terror is not for the faint of heart!
Brutally Yours, P.P. Dickey
