Broke formed in 2007 as a cover band and has quickly grown into one of the most in-demand bands in the St. Louis area. During this process they started writing their own original music as well. Their influences come from several artisis, and from each other. They started playing in local bars and private parties to gain exposure (and money), and started getting noticed by some of the greatest venues such as Hard Rock Cafe, Old Rock House, Syberg's, Helen Fitzgerald's, etc. Now Broke has started getting great reviews for their original music as well by such sources as KMOX Radio, STL Sound Magazine, and even the legendary Chuck Berry! They have started playing more original shows at such venues as The Library, Cicero's, The Firebird and more.
