Martin Wright kicked off his DJ career in Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia, where he spent an insightful and invigorating two years before returning to the re-awakening Birmingham club scene.
Residencies at Bakers, Toots and Liberty's tested his skills and developed his style to a signature flavour of sexy vocal house, and resultant monthly bookings for Miss Moneypenny's, Fuel, Promise and Spin have created regular guest appearances throughout the UK and across the water.
Representations include Blend in Derby and Ibiza, The Loft in Maidstone, Kinky Malinki in Ibiza, Dubai and London (Pacha), Sounds Heavenly in Maidstone and London, Fuel in Marbella and the Winter Music Conference 05/06 in Miami.
Martin's since supported headlining DJs such as Seamus Haji, Danny Rampling, Sandy Rivera, Alister Whitehead, Stonebridge, Brandon Block, Alex P, Mark Knight, K-Klass, Soul Central, Richard F and many more.
In 2006 he was recruited as one of the residents for Fierce Angels, working alongside Mark Doyle (creator of Hed Kandi), and his Fierce Angels tours have taken him as far afield as Columbia, Jakarta and Dubai.
Martin is also Music Editor and resident DJ for 69 Magazine – a glossy Midlands lifestyle magazine set to go national, while his dedication to mentoring others has led him to tutor for the DJ Academy where he'll be hosting courses up and down the UK throughout 2007.
