Dynamax, US hip-hop artist, Ambassador of Afrika Bambaataa's Zulu Nation is a pioneer to the Hip Hop culture in France since he featured on Dee Nasty's "Le Deenastyle" (Polydor / Polygram) in 1994. He was signed for "special projects" with UNIVERSAL France for 4 years, allowing him to work with the greatest European artists and producers, like Luc Besson on "Yamakasi" trailer, & scores like "Un Ange", with Cut Killer -P.Diddy’s Bad Boy French Crew- and "Gamer" with Saïd Taghmaoui - "3 Kings"-.
At the same time, Dynamax pioneered a radio station called Générations 88.2 providing the first international radio show: "Live From New York". He also made a guest appearance on EMI/Blue Note's artist Booster, best sales in Jazz/Electro and worked on the first hip hop TV commercial in France: NARTA HOMMES (cover of Missy Elliott's "Get ur Freak On"). He has opened and closed for Dr Dre’s Aftermath artist : Truth Hurts in Paris and Martinique. He has also starred with Universal pop and movie star Ginie Line, which featured Dynamax and Ray Charles.
After he released his first maxi on Shuga/Dreyfus/Sony Distribution, he has launched his label "Avenue Of The World" and produced his 1st solo project featuring Chuck D, Guru, Zach de la Rocha... On a musical journey, he also fusions with the electro music veteran Erik Rug in a concept called WAX GROOVE : “Tribute 2 my People” on LDT Records and live shows-.
Dynamax is employed by an organization called Mix’Cité, as a music teacher, providing the exclusive teaching of the fundamentals of the Hip Hop culture, in two elementary schools in Clermont-Ferrand-France (program sponsored by City Hall, the Local Board of Youth and Leisure and the Auvergne County). The success of his program has made the American Embassy choose Dynamax as the U.S. Ambassador and Cultural Specialist of the Hip-Hop Culture to tour in Africa (Angola, Nigeria, Niger, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Zambia and Senegal and MAURITANIA an more to come...).
Dynamax is now releasing his new album “EQUILIBRIUM” with a EP and a video “The Funhouse Adventure”, starring his big brotha Donald D (Ice T’s Rhyme Syndicate). The album also features Sticman/Dead Prez, El Da Sensei/Artifacts and Do It All & Lord Jazz/Lords of the Underground.................
