William Saravia better known as Hood Star was born on June 25, 1988 in Jersey City Medical Center, close to his home town of West New York, New Jersey. Hood Star from a early age loved music but his main focus was Hip Hop. At the age of 15 he started to write free styles as a hobby. He later joined a underground group which at the time consisted of 9 members. The equipment wasn't top of the line but the skills and love for the music where there. In the year 2007 Hood star released his first official high quality track called "Wonder Women (Spanish Version)", the song got him to number 1 on the Myspace.com charts and number 15 on Reverbnation.com charts. On myspace he was the top Reggaeton artist for 3 month straight and on reverbnation.com he was top 15 Latin artist for 7 months. The song got an outstanding 30 thousands plays on Myspace.com and 20 thousand plays on Reverbnation.com. Hood Star varies in many genre's, he makes R@b, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, and Rap. His songs have already been featured in radio stations in Washington Dc 97.5 and Internet radio station all around the world. Now in the summer of 2009 Hood Star is going to give his career a boost by releasing and appearing on many new projects. With new management Graphixville Management, and Ms Loren as his manager, the skies the limit. Even with all his work it, this is only a small preview to what this artist full potential is. He hopes that one day a big mainstream label can give him the opportunity to show the world what he can really do.
