About me: The Old Duke is a music venue situated on the cobbled King Street in the heart of Bristol. Named after Duke Ellington, the pub has become world famous for it's live traditional, New Orleans inspired Jazz music.
More recently the pub has added Blues and more modern Jazz bands to its program and now has live music on every night of the week and on Sunday lunch times.

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.
Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.

The reason for this spur of generosity is due to the fact the last couple of months have had good business, as far as commercial photography goes, but I want to bolster my Portfolio with some gig shoots.
So it's simple - contact me via Email: tom@jfbphoto.co.uk Phone: 0795 5460 955 or message me on Myspace with the date and time of the gig, I shall see if there is a slot available. If all turns out good I will need to meet yoo to arrange free VIP entry :)).
Peace out from the JFB Crew.

"Every track from the rhythmic ‘NY Cab Ride’ and restless ‘4 Wheel Drive’ to the brooding ‘Mae’s Song’ has a terrific hook but it’s the way Mason switches tempo and moods that makes ALH great fun. " -- Diva Magazine
