Nice Words:
"The balls well and truly hit the walls during this debut amalgamation of blues-rock and some downright dirty grunge. Luckily the literal sound of balls slapping off walls is drowned out by the aggressive bi-polar nature of The Old Romantic Killer Band’s explosive song composition." - Clash Magazine
"The Old Romantic Killer Band are what rock should be: loud, angry and over before you can take a breath..." - N.M.E
"The strongest aspect of The Old Romantic Killer Band is having great songs, otherwise, in the words of Barack Obama, they might be just a little bit too awesome." - Artrocker
"The Old Romantic Killer Band are the real deal; a genuinely exciting prospect who surely won't remain under the radar for much longer" - Drowned in Sound

Ahoy there! Check out our new EP The Inland Sea here - You can also listen and buy at www.theinlandsea.co.uk Enjoy xxx “A call to arms from the perilous waters of the Island. Kinfolk cower in their homes as wild squalls rage fury on us. A far cry from the glassy seas and towering swells from which we profited only a few days ago. Respite cruelly prized from our grasp, our hopes of reprieve in calmer seas lie tattered, at least for now. Scathed but not scarred, we persist through relentless gales and cloudbursts on the fringes of the ocean, passing the church in the bay where many a reveler and mourner has been left stranded at high tide. Through fortune and fortitude we reach the shore and are greeted by warm fires, zestful ales and hearty tales shared with our good friend, (sadly soon to depart us). For the storm has abated and the bow has settled. We wipe our blinkered eyes, ravaged and weary; the majestic scenes enveloped by the Island in a blind rage, ever imprinted in our minds”... The Inland Sea is inspired by the isle of Anglesey, a place that has always been close to The Mekkits’ hearts... It was recorded and produced at "Studio Los Mekkitos"... in Manchester, and will be followed next year with the ecclectic debut album!

For the past few months I have taken a break from producing anymore video projects.
However I have been using the time wisely.
So if anyone is preparing to release a single or EP and are currently looking for artwork please give me a message as I would be very interested in hearing/ collaborating and creating for any projects
The Leeds & Reading shows have certainly won you guys some new fans (judging by the hits to a vid I posted on youtube anyway). At long last people are sitting up & taking notice of the best band in the UK. 2 reviews in NME have probably contributed too, despite Greg pissing in a pint pot & Harry being described as a bollock!. Keep up the good work fellas, see you in Preston on the 24th.
