The Ones is a surreal graphic novel, centered on a postmodern trinity of Nothing, Infinity and Everything. Nothing is the cosmic void before the existence of form, when she realizes that there is no time. The concept of permanence becomes Infinity her consort and a semblance of form comes into being. The unity of Nothing and Infinity creates ultimate form, which is the culmination of one entity: Everything. Nothing created her husband out of her desire not to be alone and soon her son suffers the same pangs of loneliness. Everything wishes to create a new creature on the growing planet of evolving animals. His parents give him the advice,
“Do not create a creature that can create.” These are ominous words as soon the young Everything forgets the advice in his haste to create his masterpiece, “Man”. Man starts off in peace with Everything finding symbols in the world outside himself.
However, soon man starts to create cities to stave off his own loneliness. Once cities are established a concept of “rules” must be created. What are the rules, who would facilitate the rules etc? War, strife and all manner of ills crept out. Eventually Everything becomes ill. His parents punished man, but to no use.
One day man dreamed and when he dreamed possibilities were created. Anything was born. Anything was any one thing and thus when beheld could show the wonders of the whole. This made for the best consort for Everything because it essentially was a reflection of himself. Their union creates vibrations of anything possible: The gods and angels of legend. These symbols, archetypes and vibrations guide men back to Nothing/the Void: the source of all the wondrous creation. For in Nothing, the blank canvas, we can know all things.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Gate to Eden is the second story in the anthology entitled, “The Four Corners.” This folktale tells of Red, the boldest of colors, as he travels into the unknown of darkness beyond the land of white. His tribe worries as their comrade’s disappearance turns into panic. Each of the group goes after their missing kinsman only to find the temptress Darkness. But is her offer of physicality truly as wondrous as it seems?----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power of Three is the third story in “The Four Corners” series. This myth centers around the first human civilizations. In this world there are more laws than crimes until a puckish trickster named Bel arrives. He grants the tribes, “The Law of Return” where crimes are punished exactly according to the deed. This law is traded between groups in exchange for peace. A truce is formed until one day a prophet named, Zend questions “The Law of Return.” Zend believes that punishment can affect the community as a whole and instead pushes the ideals of Love, Gratitude and Forgiveness. Will these new ideals be enough to transform these societies?-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Elders is the last story in “The Four Corners” anthology. This tale recalls a tribe called, “The Elders” search for wisdom. They encounter several anthropomorphic characters in their journey; who grant them tidbits of knowledge. But when a foreign tribe needs assistance to retrieve their lost kinsmen, will the resolve of the Elders be enough to find the missing group and the wisdom they seek?-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Four Corners is the culmination of three years of work. It contains four surrealist spiritual proverbs. They are designed to be interpreted and deconstructed by the reader. Each book is written in a childish format, but the subtext belies its basic structure. The stories are illustrated using a wide variety of medium including, but not limited to: Spray Paint, Acrylic paint, Pastels, Crayon and Watercolor.
Both “The Elders” and “Power of Three” are previously unreleased. “The Ones” and “Gate to Eden” were originally released individually. These works were featured in Northern Virginia Magazine and Voces Del Caribe (An online scholarly journal.) There will be several more features to be announced soon. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The warrior knows that there are occasional pauses in the struggle. There is no point in forcing things; he must have patience and wait for the two sides to clash again. In the silence of battlefield, he listens to his heart beating. He notices that he is tense, that he is afraid. The warrior takes stock of his life; he makes sure that his sword is sharp, his heart satisfied, that faith still burns in his soul. He knows that maintenance is as important as action. There is always something not quite right. And the warrior takes advantage of those moments when time stops to equip himself better.
