The Brink

Bio:

The Brink has always been about writting just good rock-n-roll music for the working class. The songs lyrics are about real events and times in either the bands lives or lives they have known. Our music is filled with the love of great guitar work and sound we still love solos! The Brink Formed up many many years ago made two Cd's then toured for a while and every one went their separate ways. Kevin got married and started his family, Chuck went to music school in L.A. at M.I. and then ran his bar in Sedalia The CHEZ WHEN, Johnny played with other bands and made a few more CD's with them, got married ,and got his MBA, and Brian played with some other bands built big buildings and started his family to grow. Now some time later I thought it would be fun now that we are grown up to make a new c.d. with the guys again and maybe more. We have the material all written and are just awaiting whilst I finish converting a old barn into a studio. I never had no Idea how much work that was. Any how We hope to get something done in the not so far off future. But then again its been this long whats the rush? Look for more out of our small starting label and studio in the future (Brink Entertainment and The Little Red Shed Studios).

A thing or two that is often asked about our music.....The string sounds on Purify with fire are played with an ebow...Mister Taylor is very good at using this handy tool. The funny noise at the beginning of a shot of adrinaline is a .357 mag being fired through glass windows played backwards. ...On the Tune Lets Party I wanted it to sound like a cheap porn movie at the beginning and I believe we captured that feel very well!LOL....and last but not least the girl in Mistreated.....well it is the DEVIL!!!!!!There you have it!

I think the next C.D. will very much darker and heavy than the last two. It will be for sale at www.thebrink.biz . I am keeping track of the building of the Little Red Shed Studio on our forum
